Yami's jaw was fast, snapping out despite Asus's shift in momentum. The marine's arrogance had gotten the better of him, and Asus's punch hit home. Still, Yami's tiny eye reflexively shut as his fit got closer, and as the force of his fist slammed against his head, Yami lurched backward, spinning on one of his back feet. His head moved a couple of feet away from the impact of Asus' punch, but his rough hide minimized the damage by a significant degree.
