 [center]Katsumi is an alluring woman without even realizing it. She has been praised on her appearance more than 100 times in her lifetime but that doesn’t mean that she agrees or likes these compliments. Her lips are pale pink and are always moisturized. Even though her hair is just a simple black color, there is something that stands out about it. Soft to the touch and as silky as silk itself. She almost always has a flower ornament to go with her hair if it is up. Her bangs are pretty long and perfectly frame her pale skin that is without blemishes. 

Her looks manage to enchant people around her. Her black hair is extremely long without giving off that “I don’t bother cutting my hair.” vibe. It flows gently behind her and her expression is usually serious and mysterious when she’s not with someone at the time. 

 Her eyes are a splendid blend of colors that manage to captivate many. Her eyes give off a gentle feeling but at the same time they don’t look alive much. They are dark while being very colorful.

 Her clothing mostly consists of traditional kimonos that are black and white and are made out of soft fabric. She can’t really stand wearing bad quality clothing. Her skin is sensitive and she tends to feel uncomfortable. A few black and red kimonos are mixed in there and a small amount of everyday clothes such as a pure white dress, a blue dress, and a soft black sweater and the such. Of course, she also has a full kendo suit.

>.> Dark path
A simple magic is what her parents call it but it took her around 5 "years" to master. A dark path that she can summon in her way to walk on. It is not flying, it is creating a floating pathway that appears as though it is created out of shadows. When she needs to reach something, this proves useful for her since she can walk on up it to get to whatever she wants. However, it's a bit flashy so she doesn't like using it much. On rare occasions, she will make it transparent but this does not last very long.
>.>Exchange healing
If someone is hurt, she can heal them by giving her blood to them. A simple cut would suffice. It has proved useful for when her siblings were in need of a fast healing. The most it can do is heal broken bones, cuts, and fresh wounds. Someone's head falling off would be a different matter.
>.>Taste enhance
This is one she learned specifically for her sister Miya. Minor but one of the most proud one that she has learned. Miya didn't like vegetables so she practiced on this and found a way to even make some of the worst foods taste acceptable if not delicious (it depends on your amount of hatred for the food). If she uses this with food that is already perfectly made, it is a taste for the heavens.

>.> Your sins~
Strengths: Sins themselves can crush your soul and leave you to die. This power gives her access to becoming sin itself somehow. Over the years, she has seen many things and she knows what that can do to someone. She made it so that all of this was transferred into usable power for herself that she can use against someone. Watching a massacre unravel in front of her eyes helped this cause greatly. 

After she transfers it into something that she can use against someone, it accumulates in the form of ashes around her. These ashes don’t mean anything and are not used in her battles. Rather, the power of the sins manage to create something that she simply calls "sin mana". With this, she can practically crush the willpower of the person that she is fighting and makes her attacks stronger. 

If you are someone that has many sins, she can use this to her advantage greatly.

Weaknesses: This power uses a tremendous amount of mana. Not to be used by people that have not practiced for years. Of course, she has so it does not affect her [i]much[/i]. She manages to suppress her pain that she gets when using this.

>.> Aging~ 
This isn't really a power but she is 18 years old to be precise. However, her parents had cast a spell on her that had the ability to stretch out time. A day could be up to a year. Because of this, she is practically around 1000 in her own mind and hasn't aged in her appearance. Some people might look at this and think lucky. For whatever reason but it's really not. Imagine being told to study for a day and having that "day" be a month or a year for that matter. That's how it was for her. 

>.> Enhanced~
Her strength, balance, endurance, and especially her reflexes are extremely enhanced. Over the years, she has found that she could stack up her physical properties over the years. Every time she’s hit, she gets stronger. Every Time she’s scared, she gets more balance. Every time she loses courage, she gets more endurance. Reflexes are just something that she naturally had and got even better over the years. Do [i]not[/i] underestimate her strength. She can easily lift things like they are paperweight.   

This strength that she has could easily punch the ground and crack the layers. Not that she would do such a destructive thing. Probably.

 A beautiful katana that she holds dearly to her heart. After a while, her power grew overwhelmingly strong and it was tough to maintain it. She discovered this katana that became her catalyst and holds much of her power. It has been passed down her family for generations. The Katanas power all depends on the user. Her fan has extreme stored inside of it that she cultivated herself and uses when she does not feel like fighting with her powers. She is extremely graceful with the katana and accurate. A simple strike into the ground with a reasonable amount of arm power can cause the effect of an earthquake wherever she is if she wanted it to. It does hold a few spells but nothing too much.

 She usually has reappear when she needs it. Pretty much making it light weight and invisible. When it does appear, that isn’t usually a good thing. Unless she simply wants to practice. 

[b]Other Skills: [/b]

Katsumi’s concentration skills are stellar. Once she focuses on something, it will be hard to take her out of that trance and you won’t be greeted too kindly if she doesn’t know someone is around her.

Researching is something that she can do easily. Give her a topic, a library, and at least 30 minutes. She'll be able to speak about the topic as though she had known about it all her life. It's a bit scary. This is mainly because of her memory which is spectacular~ She can keep stuff in her mind for a long time as long as she reviews it from time to time. 

Reading. She can read a book very quickly. Well, she loves to read. Adores it. Escaping to learn about the world through mere words. It's like another world for her. A lot of times, she'll pick up a picture book and start reading it out loud. A habit I suppose. The youngest did love to hear her read. 

She can cook wonderfully. Most of her meals have the sense of a “family meal.” that she made but never really enjoyed herself. Simply watching her siblings enjoy them was enough for her. Her cooking is either simple and elegant or cute and delicious for the younger ones. Traditional Japanese meals are her personal favorite.

Her voice is extremely soothing and it always manages to calm children down which was very useful for her.  This resulted in a beautiful singing voice that she uses to, well, sing when she’s bored and alone. Or if she needs to sing a lullaby. 

Martial arts such as judo, aikido, and especially kendo. She has practiced practically all her life. Her father was a big fan of martial arts and expected her favorite daughter to be able to surpass him one day. Not that that has happened. 

 Her kendo skills are spectacular. She became an 8-dan after many “years” which was around 10 years of practicing. This was very hard for her but her father strongly wanted her to become an 8-dan.

 Other than kendo, she learned how to wield a katana. This was from her mother who then gave her her catalyst. Wielding her sword and practicing always gets her to calm down and forget about bad things around her. She is pretty vicious with a sword due to the fact that she doesn’t think much when she is fighting with a katana.

[b]Inventory:[/b] Her katana, though it is invisible. A black vintage kimono bag which always has at least 3 books, one story book and the other ones are whatever she felt like bringing. A full on safe aid kit, and whatever she felt like putting in there. If she doesn’t have the book, she’ll just have her katana and maybe a book with her.

[b]Personality[/b]: Katsumi has an air of elegance and prosperity that apparently follows around her. She grew up taking care of her siblings and  never actually having a [i]childhood[/i]. Friends aren’t something that she has actually had. Unless you count the occasional tutors that came to check up on her skills as well as possible marriage partners that she never had time for. She has never thought about friends but if she were to be around a group, she most likely would. Kind, caring, and selfless are three words that most describe her usually. She doesn’t think about herself before thinking about the others around her that it would effect and has never thought of someone as a horrid person. 

She can't really be around people that are too kind and always wear a smile. They make her feel like they're planning something since her parents were the same. Of course, this doesn't mean that she won't treat them with utmost respect. She just might not want to be around them for too long. 

Don’t expect her to show her true emotions. She is pretty straightforward with her thoughts but she has never. And I mean [i]never[/i] shown actual fury in her life. She may have expressed it with words but a lot of the times, you can’t even tell that she is angry. Bottling up her emotions is a habit but she does her best not to destroy herself with it. Also, she does not like to show much weaknesses to others. A habit I suppose. Is she shy? Is she stubborn? Is she a rude woman? Is she childish? Guess you’ll find out in the IC~

[b]Backstory: [/b]Katsumi grew up in a strict household where it was either excel or be punished for being a failure. She was the 3rd youngest out of the 10 children living in her home but soon, she was the one taking care of them the most. 

 Her parents were a noble couple that tried their best to have their children be the absolute [i]best[/i] and they did not like failures. 

 She didn’t take much notice to this until the day that her father had the 2nd youngest executed for being unable to cast a certain spell. It was devastating. Not being able to do anything and having to watch your sister's head be mercilessly cut off without a thought. Being only 9 at the time, she simply stood, stunned and shocked at what was happening. She couldn’t understand [i]why[/i] it was happening but she understood one thing: Become perfect. Don’t fail. Don’t underestimate your parents cruelty. 

 Soon, her parents were growing in wealth greatly while Katsumi was locked in her property, studying and studying and trying to become a successful daughter. She didn’t just study magic however. She studied human relations, medicine, math, science, languages, artwork, cooking, and the like. Of course, she made sure to teach whatever she could to her sisters and brothers, not wanting them to fall behind. This wasn’t a situation of “All for yourselves” this was a situation of helping each other survive and not fail to impress her parents. Impressing her parents didn’t necessarily mean following laws and being kind all of the times...

Her parents favored Katsumi because of how much she was excelling. They always at least somewhat listened to her and this resulted in only 3 other siblings getting killed when it would have been 6. 

 Her magic improved greatly and she soon became a great demon that her parents could brag about every day and that was all that she wanted. However, her siblings thought differently. Even through all of this, they thought that she was planning to surpass them even more and let them get executed since they were of no need. With this, she was devastated. The thought that they thought of her as a monster hit her hard. However, her parents came in at the perfect time, suggesting she become an even better mage at Montagne Academy. She would have wondered if they thought that she wasn’t enough but all she wanted to do now was leave so that her siblings could maybe feel… even just a little bit less stressed because of her.[/center]
