It could be right after that. He's friends could have been the one that was it the fight that Alex ended up having shift to stop. If that is the case I really doubt Alex would be there then. I see Hoyt kind of shrugging and being like. "It wasn't even my fight." And he'll nod to Billie when she says to watch himself, his friend will give him shit for it though. 

Oh I figured she would! You know that once he protects her everyone will be trying to get him to side with them. He is really wanting to stay neutral though. He hates fighting...it just kind of happens. He'll nod and smile before going to get a seat for them.
