It would be counterintuitive for her to gossip about it. It also means Collie isn't going to be too comfortable knowing that and will, in private, be pushy for him to get better as the enemy bears down on their doorstep. Leading up to battle, she'd probably try all manner of aid to help him. Counciling, medication, etc. Likewise, she'll also be keeping any eye on him to make sure his condition isn't visible. Even if that means something drastic like injecting him with straight adrenaline.
