Panic took hold of her as the Giant challenged Rilana to a duel, one where she wasn't given any time to react. Everything was happening so quickly, Alya didn't really know what to do. But she felt relief wash over her as the giant was stopped by someone else. Another giant, a woman who strolled out from the large wooden gates. The half elf didn't expect the giantess to be so articulate, then again, Alya hadn't met a giant before, let alone 'spoke' to one. As they walked through the village, Alya felt smaller than ever, but it was natural. She was shorter than the average person and these giant's were.. well, obviously much larger. She smiled in amusement as she noticed Echo trying to resist the urge to play with the smaller giants and animals. She was surprised to see those kinds of animals playing with them, usually they were wild. Then again, Alya couldn't really comment on it, since Echo was a Dire wolf. She wondered if the village was built here just because of this massive cave. It sounded quite similar to the way people settled villages around rivers and lakes. Makes sense. Her attention was diverted to Echo, who had rushed ahead, finding something buried in the snow. It was a piece of fur. Or so she thought before a small blue shard fell out of it, it looked similar to whatever Svarak's sword was made of. She walked over to Echo to see what he was playing with. She picked up the shard, as mistake she wished she never made. The feeling of dread and doom rushed into her body, it felt like it was trying to suffocate her. The power she felt was overwhelming, unstoppable it would seem. She dropped the shard, her body trembling a little. Echo, as always, noticed his mother's reaction to picking up the shard, but there was nothing he could do other than put the hide on top of her small, trembling hands. Although still shaken, she picked up the piece of fur, only to find strange markings on it. She couldn't read any of it. Perhaps Rilana could read it? She slowly got up, putting the shard into her pouch before jogging over to the Moon Fey. As she did, she heard a rhythmic beat coming from the cave. Not a dull moment when travelling through caves it seems. She handed the fur hide to Rilana, attempting to use her mindspeak on her again, "I'm not sure what this says, so I was wondering if you could read it.." She said, her voice resounding softly with a melodic voice that you'd expect from the small half elf. "..And I can hear a rhythm deep in the cave, like a drum. I think we should move with more care." She added, glancing at the rather pleased knights.
