The sun was barely peeking from over the horizon, casting a mixture of orange, purple and blue hues into the atmosphere. The waves were calm, lapping at the beachside gently as it was being pushed closer and closer to the shore by the gentle wind. Analise sighed, staring at the sky. She wished she had brought her camera. This sort of view was definitely worth going on her wall. A larger hand clasped hers, and she gently squeezed back in return. 'Definitely movie worthy.' She thought, a smile curling on her face. Anna used her free hand to brush the hair out of her face, her hand meeting his as she gave him a sheepish grin as their eyes locked. It was at that moment her mind shut down, leaving her to simply enjoy. Analise didn't realise when her eyes had fluttered close, their lips pressed against each other gently. It was sweet, with minimal pressure which caused a pleasant shiver down her body. Her hand had curled up on his upper arm, fingers pressing down as if she were holding on for dear life before he pulled away. Suddenly, it was like everything started back up again. Mind racing, heart pounding and breathing heavy, Analise felt a rush of conflicting emotions fill her up. She was happy, over the moon even, but she was terrified. Analise could hear her heart pounding in her ears, and the smile on her face slowly vanished as she bit down on her lip. Was this even right? She couldn't help but wonder. Jackson was her best friend's best friend and ex. Surely she was breaking some sort of untold girl-code just by holding hands with him and acting googly-eyed. Now, after kissing him, Analise was sure that not only did she cross that metaphorical line, she pranced through it singing 'I don't care, I love it' loudly. Analise looked at Jackson, taking in his hopeful eyes and her heart throbbed in her chest. She knew she was over-thinking things, but this was her. Analise is the queen of over-thinking things. For all she knew Jackson just wanted to have a good time, nothing else. No romance, no sweet-nothings, no boom-boxes outside windows. But then why did the thought hurt so much? Analise knew she liked Jackson, that much was certain. She didn't know the extent of it, but going by the physiological signs, it was obvious even to a blind person. Even if by some stroke of luck Jackson did like her back, surely he wasn't ready to tackle being in a relationship with a ticking time bomb. If she cannot comprehend the fact that her condition was enough to kill her, how could she expect someone else to understand? 'God damn it, Anna.' She chastised herself. 'It's only one bloody kiss. Stop being so melodramatic.' It wasn't like Anna had much of a choice anyway. She was only able to stop thinking because of her phone repeatedly buzzing against her thigh, the only sound to ruin such a mood. Anna awkwardly smiled at Jackson, "I really need to get that-" buuzzz Suppressing a groan, Anna fished her phone out of her tiny purse, peering down at the multiple messages. One thing she would have to thank Alyssa for, was her timing. Sure, it was actually sucky - she was ruining their moment, but at least Alyssa stopped Anna's mind from over-frying and possibly scaring off the one guy that had some interest in her. Now, however, Anna had to try and get Alyssa off her case. And there was only one way Anna could think of.
To: Queenie<33 Stoooop i'm geting the d
Anna sent off the message straight away, not bothering to check for any mistakes. It would be a lot more believable if she had mistakes anyway, after all, Alyssa had to think Anna was busy. After making sure to keep her phone on silent, and tucking the device away again, Anna looked back up at the male in front of her. "S-sorry about that." She cursed herself for stuttering. 'Act cool, Anna. Don't screw this up.'

Time: 6:50PM Location: Domi's Party Interacting With: Lilith [@Wintergrey] and David [@Universorum]
Now, if Lakshya was that sort of an arsehole, he would have grinned big and nudged David, mocking the carrot with a dumb "heh, periods, am I right?" Now, Lucky was not an idiot, nor an arse, and he especially didn't want to encounter the wrath of a woman this angry. Lucky had a lot more common sense than that - especially after being raised in a home with two equally firecrackers of sisters. Instead, Lucky just silently watched her walk away. It wasn't like he could help her out anyway: he would've happily donated his shoes to her but she was more likely to trip over them than to walk home safely. He turned to face David and his duck once the carrot was gone. "What exactly is so terrifying about her? The most she looks like she can do is talk your ear off." Lucky raised an eyebrow. He took an offered frosted doughnut, biting into the delicious ring of calories. "Lakshya, but call me Lucky." He said, after swallowing the bite. "Not much of a drug lover myself but to each their own." Lucky shrugged. He didn't take drugs, nor did he ever plan to. He had one goal and one goal only: to survive one year of American teen drama before returning back to his life, back to normality. "Look man, if you want to go, go on right ahead. I'll cover for you." Lucky said, after devouring the doughnut. He looked down at the duck that was gnawing on his laces, to which he could barely suppress a chuckle. "Looks like she's busy with her man anyway." He nodded in the direction where she and the guy had disappeared off to - in the direction of the cabanas, that is.
