Gallus readjusted the sack of supplies over his shoulder and followed behind Hiritus as they walked. "The wind..." Gallus realised something, looking to the ground as he pondered. He responded quickly and seriously, "We're heading upwind. We should turn our heading north-west for a while, otherwise they'll just sniff us out." If he was really on the run, Gallus would have offered the same advice as well. He had no doubt that Meesei was doing a good job of keeping track of them anyway, but he hoped that the point would solidify Hiritus' trust. During their journeying, Gallus was not content staying silent. He continued to ask questions under the guise of conversation. "So, jester. What have we got to look forward to when we find your...cell, as you call it? Will it matter that your previous mission was interrupted?" Gallus began to sound contemplative, "Unless, somehow, you knew Meesei was coming and killing her was your mission all along. In that case, having a Meesei look-alike wouldn't make an awful lot of sense."
