Jane glanced at the blue-haired girl who was now standing next to her, only a yard or two away, and showed the smallest hint of a smile. Before the apocolypse, Liz had been her...acquaintance. They hung out at school, partnered up on projects when it was needed, and sometimes even ate their lunches together. But alas, Jane did not have time outside of school for anyone but herself and her books. And though Liz was merely an acquaintance, she was Jane's only acquaintance, and the closest thing Jane ever had to a friend. Once the illness struck, she supposed she did grow a bit closer to the girl, and really everyone else. After all, they did have to live in the same building, and they had to work together to survive. But she spent her time trying to figure out how the disease works rather than socializing with the others. Jane realized that she had been looking at the girl longer than she meant to, as she had gotten carried away thinking about the good old times, and that another guy, Alex if she was remembering correctly, had just talked to Moses, but was done. The almost smile vanished from her face and was replaced with the professional straight face she had worn before. "Well, if I'm theorizing correctly, it won't actually be rotting...you see, the-...n-never mind...I'll wait to explain the science until i-it's actually p-proven." she said. She then was silent for a few moments before asking, "H-How exactly does scavenging work? D-Do we split up, or all go together?" [@Drakeonis][@Polaris North][@Rusalka]
