[@Sep]: I am really interested in seeing how Marvel/Sony can make Spider-Man relevant again.  When Spider-Man 1-3 came out, it didn't really have much competition in the superhero genre.  If you were going to see another super-hero movie, you were going to go back to Spider-Man 1-3.  However, the Amazing Spider-Man series actually had some competition.  Amazing Spider-Man had Avengers and Dark Knight Rises.  Amazing Spider-Man 2 had Captain America: Winter Soldier, Days of Future Past, and Guardians of the Galaxy.  Were you going to go back to Spider-Man or see one of the other movies that might be better?  The answer is obvious.
