Well, this appears to be a thing. 

[s]What are your views on mimic type Mutants, not so much like Rogue where she can take on attributes of other Mutants, but kinda like a Beast Boy without the transformation where they can take on a single attribute of an animal through contact which could maybe later evolve into being able to mimic the ability of other mutants(Single ability if the person has multiple).[/s]

If not I have a couple of other ideas.
