Serah listened in to the other pilots reporting their status, sitting with her legs crossed and arms behind the head. For some reason the girl never left the global channel. Nothing too interesting came over the voice comms, except for Ariin trying to rile up everyone into not fighting again. "Let's just wait for our orders, erm... Paladin." was the girl's reply, still casually waiting for the moment of getting deployed. She didn't have to wait too long, scrambling into position when Lorenzo's voice could be heard. Sheesh, that guy gave her the creeps! He explained how the battle would be fought in two teams, with a separate series of cadets forming the opposing faction. Then some loud woman named Irina practically blasted off the bluenette's ears, from which she had to wince in pain. "Too loud...!" Serah affirmed herself, before standing ready. The hangar doors opened to reveal a dull, but large landscape which Serah had a few moments to take in. "Whoa..." she let out, and got really excited afterwards. This was going to be fun. Though orders soon followed. The Mock Battle officially begun, and the girl made sure AA-XOTRY's thrusters worked their magic to fly out onto the field of battle. Around her, she could see all other framewerks in their full glory fly alongside Atty and take in how they looked. Some were close to her design, and others completely different. But all of them looked freakin' amazing! Serah felt a grin creep across her lips as she landed neatly on Atty's legs, having the machine crouch down just a tad to somewhat lessen the blow. Not that they needed it, but it looked cool anyway. "See? No reason to worry!" Serah spoke over the voice communication to everyone, hoping that they realize it was in reference to Ariin's concerns. Not too long after, Logic Gate sent over an incomplete scan of the area, giving the pilots a rough idea of where they were. Some people were already congratulating the girl piloting it, but Serah wasn't completely convinced yet. "Confirming I have the map, Logic Gate. Thanks." she said, though without any energy behind the words. Before the girl could really think about the rest of it, Harold started to discuss strategy. "Sure!" Serah responded to his inquiry of putting something to work. The suggestion was to hide in the pillars, which would give them some sort of ambush potential. "Um, sure but-" Serah was about to chime into the plan, before Zim had cut her off. He seemed to go on ahead, and placed the suggestion for the girl fighting in the front lines. She wasn't against the notion, to be fair, but it also seemed a little risky with how little training Serah had. Well, it's not like she ever told the others... "Um... When you say left, all I see is a tower. But I think I copy what you mean, Rostosov. I dunno though, that tower seems awfully out of place. If the enemy gets that, I think they'd see us just fine. But I'll follow your orders for now." the teenager chimed in with her opinion. As if on cue, Eiswolf boosted itself up to the tower and Dynasty's pilot chiming in on that. She'd asked for either Atty or Black Star for support, but Serah didn't quite feel like she should follow those orders. The woman didn't come off as experienced as Harold. "Negative, Dynasty. Moving to pillar forest." Serah moved her body alongside Atty, letting the framewerk sprint off to the pillars. She'd figured none of the opposing pilots would have vision of them just yet, so it was maybe not all that risky to make a bit of noise. She had Atty hold the energy blade like it was sheathed on its back, so that nothing would accidentally get sliced while the machine was running around. It seemed Black Star had a bit of issue with moving, which Serah was a little concerned about. They looked like they were struggling with their mech and moved like a snail. "Confirming arrival." Serah spoke over the communications, intent on letting her team know every single move the girl made. She wasn't experienced enough in combat to make her own choices yet, so she figured it was best to follow along with someone's orders right now. Unless they were stupid, anyway. The girl had her framewerk look around to find a suitable pillar, close enough to one of the edges, and decided to hide behind it for now. AA-XOTRY walked over and put its back against the pillar, now with the blade in front of their chest for an easy swing.
