God dammit... Who knew so much drama existed around a show for 4 year olds... I've been working on a documentary for an old show I used to watch as a kid, I was using the biggest forum for that show as a base to post updates and advertise. Turns out that the head of that forum has been promising a documentary for over a year, and hasn't done anything towards it. So, after a month of searching, I secured interviews with a number of people who worked on the show... So, naturally, this means that the guy who ran the forums has just been sitting around with his thumb up his ass for over a year. Naturally, I logged in yesterday morning and found out that I had been banned from the site, and my thread about the documentary had been deleted. The mod had the balls to say "From what I have seen from your forum posts, I seriously doubt that you are professional, and I do not want you associated with my forum, or my fandom, as I do not want you spoiling our reputation among the creation team." The funniest part of this is that, someone who had been part of the forum, but left because of the mod being a dick, told me "You've proven that he's been sitting around on his ass doing nothing for the last 11 months, if I know him, as soon as it looks as though you are actually going to pull this thing off, he'll call you unprofessional, then kick you off the site." Personally, I hoped it was just two people having a "He's a Dick" argument. But it turns out that it was well founded... It's really funny when you think about it... Jokes on him, I never needed his help in the first place, it's just me and a guy in Texas. Who would guess that a show for 4 year olds, about Anthropomorphic boats would have such a dick running it's biggest forum?
