Appearance: She is tall at 5'11" with waist length dark red hair and unnerving green eyes. She is lithe with slightly pale skin. Being Half-Manakete she has retained the pointed ears of her mother but not her ability to transform. She wears black leather boots, black pants with a dark red flame design along the sides, a white sleeveless shirt, and white cloth bandages covering her palms and forearms. She also wears a hooded cloak most of the time. When traveling or going into battle she also wears blood red Chon'sin style armor. Specifically on her shoulder, hips, gauntlets and as an attachment to her boots.

Personality: She is laid back and carefree rarely taking anything seriously. She is friendly and almost always willing to help out as long as it's not to far out of the way. Despite her personality and being incredibly good with people she tends to avoid them preferring the company of animals. As such she is capable of calming almost any kind of anima wild or not. While she has no dislike for her Manakete features she hides them to prevent any kind of hassle they may cause.
Biography: She was born on the Skyborn Island. Her mother was a Manakete that lived on the island while her father was one of the sailors that discovered the island. Having been born without the ability to transform she was bullied for most of her childhood and had no friends. Despite this she was happy living with her mother and was always excited when her father was able to come visit. When she turned six her mother gave her a book on magic so she could teach herself. When she was eight her father was injured during a voyage and was no longer able to sail so her and her mother moved to the mainland to live with him. Tragedy struck a year later however and the village where they lived was attacked by bandits and both of her parents where killed. She would have died but a wandering group of good natured mercenaries arrived and killed the bandits saving most of the villagers. One of them decided to take Sayuri with him as she had no way to get back to Skyborn Island. He had a family of his own with a daughter about her age that she made quick friends with. Though they were Grimleal they never made her participate in any of their worship. As she grew up she didn't have access to many knowledge on magic so instead she learned swordsmanship from one of the other mercenaries which she was a natural with. When she was 13 her friend got horribly sick with an incurable disease. Being unable to do anything her friend died a year later. Looking for a way to get rid of her frustration she ran out into a nearby forest and began attacking trees and foliage at random. The noise however attracted a handful of criminals that were hiding out in the forest. Seeing easy prey they attacked. She was able to kill most of them before one of them got her from behind nearly killing her before her adoptive father saved her. After healing she decided to join the Mercenary group though left about a year and a half later when she was 16 to become a fairly successful merchant though still taking mercenary requests when in the need.[/hider]
