Mine, mine, mine, mine, MINE! "
"My name's Chen. Chen Avarice, don't forget it. And don't try taking it either!" Name: Chen Avarice "Yeah, my pop is Prince Greed. I bet you're jealous he's not your dad, I know Little Envy sure is." Nicknames/Titles: Son of Greed, Greed Jr., Little Cupidity, Asshole "Let's not focus on that! I'm basically 16, minus a few months." Age: 15 "Why the hell do you want to know my height? It's not important, I'M NOT SHORT OK!" Height & Weight: 5'3 105 "I'm a dude, obviously." Gender: Male "Straight from the underground! Great parties down there too. Race: Demon "Ladies only bro. Sorry to all the dudes who want my hot body." Sexuality: Heterosexual Magic: "Shocking that the Son of Greed would specialize in Electricity, I know." Prima Magic-Electricity: One of the most basic magics, yet devastating in the right hands. Chen can create basic to low medium offensive Electricity spells and can create electricity for powering objects up to a laptop, but little else at the moment. "Let's move on, no need to focus on the negative. Isn't my Electricity cool?" Prima Magic-Wind: Ranging from gentle breezes to town destroying tornados, Wind is one of the most versatile forms of Prima Magic. Chen can barely create a breeze to cool someone off, but he wants to learn how to use it in conjunction with his Fire. "My heritage, pops taught me this!" Circum Magic-Claim: When standing still, Chen can point at something that someone else owns and teleport it to himself, claiming it as his own. "Oh, I'm so strong! I've got so much power it's not even funny! I could end you with my lightning... Strengths: His Electricity is much stronger than most students (demon or otherwise) his age, his lust for knowledge fueling his drive and determination. His Circum Magic is unusual, in that it consumes a small amount of mana in comparison to most Circum spells. Also, if an item doesn't have an owner, Chen can claim it while moving. "Can we move on from the Wind thing? I'm going to get really good with it, ok! Stop snickering!" Weaknesses: He has the weakest wind magic in the Academy, struggling to create a gentle breeze and basically unable to use it for combat purposes. At this point he is obsessed with getting up to snuff, dedicating large amounts of time to trying to get it to work. His Circum Magic also has a few major weaknesses. First of all, he must know the name of the owner of the object he is claiming. If he doesn't, nothing happens and he just stands there, pointing like an idiot. Secondly, he must be standing still, Claim takes serious concentration to pull off. He also cannot claim living things, as much as he wants to. Bigger objects also take more mana to claim. "Do I look like I need that kinda wimpy shit? Don't even think about mentioning the Wind. Catalyst:N/A "Yo, my finance skills are on point! I got a mean bluff too. Huh? Yeah, I'm good with this thing I guess." Other Skills: Great financial skills, good at poker, medium level of swordsmanship. "What do I got on me? Let's see, I got these sunglasses, I got some spare change, legendary sword, I think I might have some mints, let me check." Inventory: Coinspinner: Coinspinner is a legendary blade passed down to Chen by his father, it is sometimes called "The Cheater's Sword" due to its tendency to create unnaturally deep wounds. Mints:"Found the mints!" Debit Card: Chen keeps a debit card with him just in case he is in an emergency, or sees something he wants. "I want one, but I haven't found anything yet." Familiar: None "I'm a pretty cool dude if I say so myself. And I do." Personality: Chen can be very conceited and arrogant, believing himself to be above others due to his royal blood. This typically causes clash when someone disagrees with him and makes interaction with figures of authority, more specifically taking commands... less than satisfactory. This does not mean he doesn't want friends, he is intensely loyal to what friends he has, because he views them as his. He is also very protective of his property, making him a good guy to have your back in a pinch. Despite being the son of Greed, he rarely wants much, mainly because he has most things any person could want. But when he does want something, god help whoever gets in his way. Gets sensitive about his height. "My life? Pretty sweet I guess." Backstory: Chen has lived a fairly carefree life, being of royal blood. He could've easily chosen to just become the successor to his father and been bred to become a successful diplomat. He was likely on that path too, if not for one major event in his life. When he was 8, he was watching his father play Poker with some friends. This was nothing out of the ordinary, he bought his father Poker chips hidden inside sandwiches all the time. But this game was different. Lord Wrath was losing badly this game and his temper was quickly getting out of control. Near the end of the game, Wrath had lost all of his chips and flipped over the table in anger. Wrath made a grab for Chen (Wrath wouldn't actually hurt him, he had just lost his temper for a bit) and Greed quickly intervened. He moved in front of Chen quickly and spit a ball of Fire at Wrath to snap him out of his anger. This shot Wrath through a wall, knocking him out cold. Such was life in royalty. That day effected Chen more than any other in his life as he became fascinated by Magic. Chen became obsessed, demanding any book that he could get on Prima Magic, more specifically Electricity. He wanted to forge a pth aside from the one layer down for him by his family. His father of course indulged him, realizing that this was very important to Chen and would shape his life. 2 years passed and Greed approached Chen with a choice. He could learn the family magic, passed down from generations of Greeds before him or he could simply become another noble. The choice was easy for Chen. 3 more years passed and Greed had secured a spot at Montagne Academy, Chen had learned many things from Greed, but Greed believed that what Chen needed now was to go out and see the world. Chen readily accepted and prepared for a new portion of his life to begin. Time zone: GMT-8 Hours
