I had foreshadowed this like a month or two ago. It happened a couple days after Fei went on her travel. Actually, she was on Emilia's Palace this whole time, were either of them to go to the dungeons under it and search enough, they would have found Eleonor there. However, because of the time-skip I was forced to cut this possibility.
