As for how the process of applying and how the OOC/IC works on here is that we have a Tabs features where each RP thread you'll see in the main rp sections(Free, Casual, Advanced, Arena, 1x1, Nation, and Tabletop) have three tabs(and they are in this order): 
IC - where the In-Character posts are made
OOC - where the out of character posts are made
CHAR - where characters are posted once they have been accepted by a game's GM(s)

Additionally, in [url=http://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/35-the-gallery]The Gallery[/url] you can post any creative arts thread you want(traditional art, digital art, writing, etc).
