I mean, if I flank a player and unload a magazine in the general direction of their head, I would expect that to kill them. A response like "you hit me with two bullets, injuring me" or "I roll out of the way and throw a knife at you" wouldn't make sense, but it wouldn't be fair for them to die instantly. Seems like you'd need a GM to follow up every post from the combatants, and each attack would be required to start with "I attempt to [...]" Which would work, because I've done it, but a lot of work for the GM. Otherwise, interested. I'm pretty much going to go full Adam Jensen from "Deus Ex: Human Revolution." It'll certainly keep powers and weapons easy to track and I'm already basically an assassin in the game, so God-modding won't be a problem.
