This ability also includes the potential for her to coat herself entirely of this crystal for added resistance to damage, pack a stronger punch, and offer a unique interaction involving energy absorption. Energy Absorption While in her crystal form, and only in her crystal form, her touch can draw energy from various sources. Electricity provides the greatest amount of energy but absorbing energy from another being can yield energy. This gives Hollie a sort of Vampiric touch and allows her to drain energy from her opponents at relatively a slow rate. Another method of energy absorption can come from a sort of energy "rebate" when Hollie receives kinetic strikes (punches, bullets, etc.). Even though she may benefit from being on the receiving end of an attack, her crystal form cannot take a lot of abuse and may crack and break causing real injury to Hollie's actual form. Extra energy is needed to sustain the her crystal constructs. Weaknesses Outside of her crystal form, Hollie is vulnerable. It takes her awhile to build up enough energy to use her extra abilities, before that she is just armored. Her crystal form can be damaged and eventually destroyed. | BIOGRAPHY: |
Ever since her birth she had always been destined for stardom, her mother would make sure of that. Obviously there was a reason for that. Hollie's mother was, to quote Hollie: "an old-washed up Hollywood star from the previous century". That woman thought being a star was everything and she might have meant well, but that woman forced Hollie through all the hoops involved in becoming a childhood star. Harshly controlled diets, regular acting lessons that took precedence over actual, and so on. Needless to say, it wasn't the kindest up bringing. Her father wasn't really around anymore for an unknown reason at the time. Hollie would later discover that her mother filed for divorce and managed to keep Hollie, but that was kept hush-hush for the longest time. Anyway, Hollie eventually did become a childhood star, featured in many different TV shows and a few movies. Hollie's mother could not be more delighted but Hollie, she didn't really like it, but God forbid if she decided to quit. The "two of the were too far to quit", according to Hollie's mother. So with reluctance, Hollie continued her acting career well into her mid-teens. She was actually very promising in her trade and many predicted her to "become the next best thing". Well it was around this time that she started noticing her body behavior oddly. No, not puberty, but rather her touch was either "too strong" or "too weak" when trying to do different things. She kept quiet about it but eventually her oddity manifested in her crashing through the set with a jump. That's when Hollie first discovered her label. Mutant. Well as it turns out, Hollywood doesn't like Mutants all that much, so she was blacklisted. Nobody wanted a Mutant in their movie, so that was that. Unfortunately, Hollie did not know how to anything other than act at this point, thanks to Mother. Speaking of which, Hollie's mother kind of ended up disowning her daughter because of that. It wasn't so much the mutant thing, it was more due to not being able to be the shining star that she wanted. That's when Hollie's father came back. He had heard the news and came to rescue his daughter. Surprisingly, Hollie's mother put up little fight. Hollie's wasn't intolerant of his daughter's kind but he didn't know how to deal with it. So he sent her to Xavier, because who else do you send your mutant kid to? Hollie has been there for five years now.
| MISC. NOTES: |

Admires Emma Frost due to similar personalities and powers.
Chances are, you've probably seen Hollie on TV at some point in your life. She was pretty famous.
Pretty stuck-up, but that's due to her mother. Really. She can blame her if she wants.
That said, one's persistence is flattering. Gushy romance cliches go a long way.
Likes her father waaayy more than her mother but he is awkward and clumsy. He doesn't really know how to handle a mutant daughter.
Presently conflicted on what she wants to do with her life. Joining the X-Men is an idea but one of many.
Umm... I'll have an iced tea, please.

HOLLIE'S RELATIONSHIP SHEET
[SUB]// Friend // Acquaintance // Frenemy // Rival // Enemy // Crush //[/SUB]

Allison Andrews:
Hollie approves of Allison and actually enjoys her company, citing her as "good company". However, the two can only stand each other for so long. Apparently, Allison takes conflict with Hollie's demeanor, which is very much to the ex-star's annoyance. The two are roommates so getting along is crucial so Hollie tries to at least be polite.

William Irving:
What can you say to about a weirdo who hides behind a mask and a hood... Hollie is immediately put off by the man and will just avoid him at all costs. She doesn't hate him, but clearly, she doesn't like him either.

Llavi Arutro De La Rosa:
Hollie does not like Llavi. First off, his power is disgusting. The black ichor that the man secrets pales in comparison to Hollie's shiny crystals. Then there is whole thing about "TV Gringos"... Don't even get her started on that.

Nathaniel Nicholas Anderson IV:
Hollie's shining star in her life. He is charming, handsome, and has a very admirable character. She is head-over-heels for the man, especially now since the man is all to herself! He is someone to confide in and she trust him greatly. She is even willing to go out of her way for him and has been noted by others to be more approachable and friendly to others while in his company.

William Alexander:
Hollie finds a lot of William's qualities to be endearing. He seems genuine in being friends with anyone and even Hollie struggles to the negatives about the boy. He could probably clean himself up better or something. Overall, Hollie returns the kid's friendliness the best she can.

Lucas Raymond Pilgrim:
Hollie generally treats Lucas with a degree of positivity. Their relationship got off to a rocky start as the man was simply overbearing at first. He has calmed now, likely due in part to Hollie's new relationship status... Anyway, the two of them get along but Hollie keeps him at arm's length as she really isn't interested in progressing their relationship.

Ryan Martin Lebeau:
As really the only other person in the house who can laugh at the expense of others, Hollie finds the guy likable. He is usually on point with his humor and usually can get a good laugh from Hollie. That said, however, the two of them are quite abrasive and they have gotten in spats before.

Darren Grey:
Hollie finds Darren to be "okay". There isn't too much between the two of them outside of Hollie's appreciation for the "hot surfer guy with the accent". In fact, Darren is very reminiscent of a character in one of Hollie's shows, who was Hollie's older brother. The actor was nice. Darren seems the same way and Hollie likes that. Unfortunately, the man's "balloon" power is a little too easy to ridicule.

Daniel Aiden Green:
Daniel reeks of Hollie's previous life in California, which is a good thing. Vegan, eccentric, and a big Beyonce fan, the man just reminds Hollie of home so much that she can't help but think positive around him. The best part is that he usually keeps to himself so normally he isn't a bother and when Hollie wants to hang out with him, she usually can as he is friendly enough.

Heidi Anneliese Keller:
Typically, Hollie and other girls don't get along well enough to be friends. Heidi is no exception as the girl tends to be critical of Hollie's attitude and that never sits well with Hollie. So, the two try to remain professional, at least. Hollie finds some common ground with Heidi here and there, but the two are ultimately uninterested in each other past a certain point.
