[@Kouki] Don't think about it too hard. Badassery is something that ebbs and flows through the universe in Power Rangers. Even Bulk and Skull could kick the asses of putties (albeit in a comical way). As long as this backstory doesn't involve taking on entire squads of Githkin (a couple unmorphed are ok) then you'll be fine.
