Maize is not much more than an NPC with an imperative to follow Slough, so taking liberties with its actions is perfectly fine by me. I think my next post that catches up to the latest creation wave [i]will[/i] have a little Maize skit responding to the Venomweald, but Ventus is free to follow his own plot elsewhere; Jvan will talk to him when or if he so chooses to visit.
