Kaleb Brody
Kaleb dropped to lay on his back the moment the group finally stopped. Every little noise in the forest had made him run faster, but the truth was he wasn't nearly fit enough for the sprinting he'd just forced himself to do. A prison sentence didn't lend itself to a satisfactory workout routine. His arms were thrown out in hopes exposing more of himself to the air might cool him down, and he sucked in deep breaths of too-rich air. The air on the station was clearly lacking something, every breath here felt like a drug. He took that moment to himself to catch his breath and let the burn in his limbs dissipate a bit, but then he remembered where he was. Right. Dirtiest floor in existence, because it's a planet, and also probably infected with numerous diseases and or infested with who knows what kind of creepy crawlies. He sat up quickly, brushing himself off as he rose to his feet. "Brains! Get the fuck up here!" The girl was shouting again, and Kaleb was pretty sure it wasn't to him, but he wanted to know what was up all the same- and why the girl was yelling when they'd just run for their lives and might still be within the fanged-sloth-from-hell's hearing range. He moved to stand beside her, getting a glimpse at the valley and doing a double-take. It wasn't that surprising that humans were here, or had been at least, why else would their ship be headed here? He assumed they were heading here anyway. "Damn," he commented, unsure what else to say. He glanced at the girl, he still didn't know her name, and wondered what their next move would be.
