IRL friends are overrated.
I've got three that I am particularly close to. Two that went to the game. The one I mentioned above did that after telling me that it'd be cool if went to the game and all sat together as friends, which is a big influence as to why I went. After going to sit by herself, and my one friend asking her to come down and join us, she kept saying no. The other that went to the game is currently in a stage where he is transitioning into a relationship, I think, so I was basically a third wheel the whole time. A third friend that didn't go still shocked the heck out of me. He's getting friendly with a girl that happens to be friend #2's ex, who is only talking to friend #3 to get back at friend #2 because, yes, she is that kind of person. No matter who tells him how crazy the girl is and that he shouldn't be around her, he shuts them out completely. The girl continues to virtually harass friend #2 on the regular, to the point that she is trying to destroy his friendships. So friend #3 has started to become a (rather good) wearer of two faces, as he has started to cuss people out who diss the girl and even tell people that the majority of people at the church's youth group don't like various people to their faces. It's disgusting. I don't know what's happening.
