I can't say that I'm a massive fan of the novels, either. My problems with the show comes down to A). It sucks now, and B). If you're gonna adapt something, respect the source material try to follow it as best you can.

If you can't, don't gut it and [i]COMPRESS TWO WHOLE BOOKS INTO ONE SHITTY SEASON.[/i]
