Abortions aren't illegal here either. Teens just don't want to tell parents about being pregnant. Most do it multiple times as a teen. I know of one who had her boyfriend use knitting needles 3 times in 1 year. Then he was a bit rough and she had to go to the hospital. If they went to planned parenthood, they could have had a cheap abortion and be given birth control to use."
