This is an example for those who were in the Interest Check, and if anyone else is looking to join. It's kinda crap, but eh...Fuck it. You don't have to use the same layout, but do whatever you can do get the important information in.

[Ted Moore]
--- --- Name Edward William Moore Gender Male Age 23 Nationality Scottish --- Appearance Standing at the taller-end of height of 6' 2", Edward, commonly known as Ted, holds a Dark-Brown shade of hair, ruffled in a sort of untouched style that isn't very unique. His hair isn't fine, and definitely quite thick in length, reaching the back of his neck. More towards the body of the man, he doesn't exactly look that muscular or big-boned like other Band-Players that generally hit the big screens and high-record labels. His arms are quite thin, though not scrawny. It's the typical sort of Non-Sporty individual that is being represented, by his appearance, which isn't too much of a problem. Going to his face, there's a short black stubble that sits around his mouth and upon his chin, with a dark-emerald shade of eyes above. The rest of the general features of his body are relatively average, no notable differences that make him a special-individual amongst the flock. In the terms of fashion, it's relatively the same on and off stage. Usually, for night-performances, and going out at darker times, there's the use of Jackets [Much like in the image] worn. It may not be completely stylish, or expensive, but it suits him rather well. For daytime performances and outings, even when staying indoors, some sort of Chequered, long-sleeve button shirt, usually with rolled up sleeves, with any sort of plain-colour under-shirt is likely to be the sort of Fashion anyone who plans on knowing him will have to get used to. He isn't much about fashion, like some other groups out there in the World of Music, and just generally wears what he thinks suits him for a day. General Trainers, or Canvas Shoes, and non-tight jeans are worn below. Sometimes, especially during certain performances, a Pokiok Soft Shell Cap is occasionally an addition to whatever clothes he's wearing. Personality Ted isn't the worst of people; neither is he the best. Not much of a Open character, he's usually just that person who's used to hanging around at the back of a group, occasionally being brought into certain conversations. You know, the sort of person who just is there, sometimes feels like they shouldn't but is anyway? Ted's social-life usually consists of talking to people who makes contact with himself first, or whoever he's been told to talk to. You couldn't see him as a sort of Leader-Perspective, though he can introduce some decent ideas when needed. Overall, he's the typical sort of guy who hangs around the group. He's not the confident Let-It-All-Out sort of individual, yet he isn't also the I-Hate-Everyone-And-I'm-Super-Shy sort either. Somewhere in the middle, generally being the sort of person he is. A more detailed way of describing what sort of person he was would be slightly more specific. Ted's friendly when he needs to be. Manners can sometimes be a priority, but the normal-casual attitude is the way it's normally presented. He generally doesn't flip out at anything minor, meaning the idea of Over-reacting is not a common phrase when describing his opinions. At least he tries to not be biased, though sometimes can be. Ted's also quite respective of both privacy and others. His passion for Music hasn't exactly left him set on one genre, meaning he's reasonably respectful towards everyone's talents. He doesn't parade himself around as a sort of god, show off when practising or performing, nor does he simply portray himself as a showman. Ted isn't the sort of icon you can look upon and think 'Hey, that guys going mental on stage! Just look at that body-movement!' If that was ever said one-day, he'd be amazed at what he was actually doing in the Spotlight. Same can be said for his vocalisation. He's pretty decent, though not a complete beauty when it comes to the voice. As long as it is good enough for the song, then it's good enough for him and everyone else. Long-Story Short, Ted is sort of your average British Man, but with an instrument and Musical Talent. --- Music Career Band Member Role Bassist | Additional-Vocalist Inspiration Thomas Winterson [Bassist of the Musical Duo - Louis and Thom, an Alternative pair who've come-and-gone in the fame.]
[img][/img] --- Band Name Problematic State Band Size 4 Members [3 Official, 1 Temporary/Occasional] Music Genre Alternative Rock Lead Singer | Guitarist Jeremy Kingsley Drummer | Percussionist | Backing Vocalist Lucinda Graham Bassist | Additional Vocalist Ted Moore Synth | Pianist | Percussionist | Semi-Band Member Norman Woods Extra Information Norman's involvement in the Band started out as occasionally filling in for small backing parts in the earliest of the band's songs. He eventually began to gain more respect from the Local fans, and was asked to be included more often. As he doesn't want to contribute for full-time playing, due to his interest in watching them more than performing, has made him been known as a Half-Member. He still is known for his involvement, though he doesn't always make an appearance. On more recent notes, Lucinda told of using him more if they continue to make their independent tracks. On a side note, Lucinda and Jeremy have indeed been in a relationship for quite some time, having their ups and downs as it progressed. The Band also used to have a Lead-Singer, who didn't play any Instruments, before Jeremy, who had deceased from a Vehicle Accident three years prior to the current times. No one likes to bring his name up often, and keep their respects to themselves. Jeremy replaced him after a tough interval, being the next-best Vocalist.
--- Likes/Advantages Ted does like a few things in particular, more than others. These would include the Alternative Rock Genre, especially of the Older duo of Louis and Thom, experimenting with the different areas of Music and the ability to simply blend completely different styles into a new, improved style, whilst maintaining their own aspects of their current style. On a more general style, he's particularly fond of Cats, because why not, out-of-the-house meals and simply knowing that there are also other Musicians like himself, and getting to know them if possible. For the advantages of the young-adult, Ted's Bass playing skills are quite high. Using Finger-Bass as his style of playing for most of the songs he's done small covers for, as well as the current list of songs Problematic State have done so far, though plans for faster songs may require a switch to Pick-Bass. Ted's Bass seems rather stylish for both the man and Band, being one of the more expensive instruments in the Band. Having had it for quite some time, the feel of the Fretboard and shape has grown upon him, making it difficult for him to consider buying a new one. It was definitely difficult for him to buy, being in a Middle-Class family, and brings some charisma to the performances, especially at night with the LEDs mounted into the Fretboard. His playing speed can be quite fast, and definitely excels in some of the more unique styles of playing. Being in the Alternative Rock band, he's able to use this variety whenever pleased, though mistakes can sometimes be noticed. Dislikes/Disadvantages The first thing you can say that Ted likes is called the Fame-Attitude. This is when an individual comes rather too fond of their recognition, meaning they start to present themselves differently and change as a whole person to impress those at all costs. It's more of an irritating personality that just gets deep down inside and drives everything to the point of insanity. Also, he's not exactly a big fan of those who generally point out flaws. In fairness, no one really likes those sort of personalities. When it comes to general dislikes, Ted isn't exactly a big fan of Coffee, if that can be considered a notable dislike, and many of the troubles that are generally going on throughout his Career's progress. One very big disadvantage is his job. He doesn't exactly work anywhere else, besides the band, and generally has a lot of free time. Without non-busy friends, he can end up spending quite a bit of time alone. It's something he's used to, and sometimes can be considered invasive if someone tries to Invade the lifestyle he's used to. He does sometimes combat this by doing extra work for local people occasionally, which gives him a semi-stable wage to keep him going. One other disadvantage would be the amount he can sometimes focus on their progression. He is concerned about growing too large, which could either make life a living hell, or he could ruin his life by falling under stress and messing up most of the things the band were to perform. Background Scottish-Born, located in the town of Livingston, under his father Scott and his mother Helen, Edward grew up with a generic Middle-Class family. He went to Primary and Junior school in the Local area, reaching the age of 11 and the end of his 6th Year in the Curriculum. Eventually, during the Summer Holidays of that very same year, Edward and his Parents had decided to move far southern, into the central-south of England. After the general family shenanigans relating to the moving, and the settling nearby to the Capital, the next 5 Years of Secondary School became the first steps towards the path of the Music industry. As his mother and father worked a lot to ensure the trio, Edward being a single child, had enough to accommodate and ensure leisure was still available whilst living a standard life. And from this, Edward met five people. It was during his first year that he met Jeremy and Lucinda. The three of them formed an early friendship, mainly spending time between the three of themselves rather than owning a large group of temporary acquaintances. During that same year, the 7th Year in Education, Edward, now starting to be called Ted, started to become interested in Music. There were opportunities, of course, at his school for Music lessons. Here, he chose himself paid private Bass Guitar lessons, after looking into the different String instruments that were up for offer. During the 8th total Year in Education, the second in the Secondary School, Ted met Norman after having him move into the same Street. The two made quick, yet at first quite awkward, friends, both occasionally using their new-found instrumental talents to mess around together making simple beats and tunes. After some time, Norman was introduced to Jeremy and Lucinda, who in return were introduced to Matthew Davis. Matthew, Jeremy, Lucinda and Ted all formed their own little School/Outside Student Band, originally titled Chequered Hearts. Matthew was to take the Vocals, Jeremy on Electric Guitar, Lucinda would pick up the drumsticks and Ted would act as the Bassist. It was more of a hobby and more for a laugh rather than a serious note, but during their final months of education, a parent of a member of the audience from one of their School concerts approached them, complimenting their covers and nodding that they could use these talents for their own satisfaction, as well as hopefully many others. That was what sparked the idea of making this a career. And so, the final school year came to a close, with Ted walking out with a good number of Qualifications. Excelling most in Music, as a BTEC and GCSE, Biology and English, he was prepared to start his life onwards. Ted did then do a Year of Sixth form following the next academic year. He chose a Music and English A-Level course, hoping to snatch some good grades. As he grew up, he took a small part-time job to earn a small amount of money, eventually reaching the age of leaving the house. Ted moved into a moderate-apartment complex, one where the rooms where quite large, known as the Lounge. It was known as this because a good few performers looking for jobs and opportunities would generally come here, knowing the tradition of new Musicians to use this location in hopes to find success in their dreams. Here, he took the room 3F, the sixth room on the third floor. From here on, this is where Ted has lived up to this point. Once his time in Sixth form was over, and he had bagged himself good qualifications yet again, he sat down and began to talk to his fellow friends. They began to talk about making something out of their music talents, especially relating to what the Father had said all those years ago. After a week's discussion, they eventually came to an agreement to start their own Musical Act. After eventually ditching the name of Chequered Hearts, they soon adopted the unique title of Problematic State. Starting to use their money earned from small jobs and local assignments, the five started to invest their money on things for Music. Renting out, eventually buying, a separate room further upstairs, the group then began to construct a small studio for them to practice in. These upper rooms were known for being put to this use, and the Apartment usually assisted in those who invested for these areas. Ted finally then spent a huge majority of his cut on his Bass Guitar, now a signature icon for himself. It was rather expensive, compared to some of the other instruments bought and fixed up by the rest of the Band, but it proved to be interesting. Norman had bought himself Synthesiser gear, wanting to assist the band for small reasons, whilst filling in his own personal hobby and enjoyment for whenever he felt like they didn't need his assistance. Things started out small, as they have been for quite some time, and they signed up for small Pub gigs. Having gotten gear that was good enough for performing, they managed to bag themselves a small name in the local rank-board. Covers were made, and plans for their own original songs were starting to become a thing. It was right around the production for a never-released song, titled Loophole, that a tragedy occurred. Matthew, being the Lead-Singer of Problematic State, was involved in a Public-Transport Bus crash whilst moving to visit his parents in another town. During the accident, which involved 9 passengers and the driver, 3 people were killed. Among these three was Matthew, which had then left a huge dent in the hearts and minds of the four friends. This impacted both Jeremy's and Ted's lives greatly, the two having come close many times. This was the point where the group began to fall apart slightly, before making a drastic recovery. Jeremy, coincidentally, had ended up with a small-alcoholic addiction during the time of mourning, making the Band be set back slightly, though inspired for lyrics. As time passed, in Months, the group eventually came back together to continue their act, using the inspiration of both their previous troubles to inspire the first few songs they began to write. And from that point, they went back to performing in Pubs, now beginning to target their first larger venue in clubs. The singer was then replaced by now head-showman and Guitarist Jeremy, Ted and Lucinda providing the Backing Vocals. Norman began to also get involved, starting to put his Pianist and Synth-Playing skills to use. --- Character Inspiration Ted Moore - Chris Wolstenholme Problematic State - Muse | Morning Runner Character Theme Morning Runner - Burning Benches [I'm likely going to use this as one of their performance songs, though I'll probably find a different singer for it.] ---
