[@Hans von Lek]An idea for Japan, why not call their secret ministry thing the "Office of National Intelligence" (ONI)? It could be that Japan is trying for their own super soldier through science and maybe Shinto magics, just with a more kaiju/Godzilla/youkai/demonic twist or something. ONI would fit this wonderfully I feel since the word "oni" in Japanese means something like "demon" or "monster".
