"Miko-san!" Kouko called after her before running to the riverside, though she stopped before jumping in. The wounds on her arm would be easy to open, and she couldn't risk the movement. Especially seeing that Asuka had already jumped in and managed to pull the two of them up onto the riverbank. She rushed to the priestess's side and knelt, watching the Princess tend her. Concern flashed over her face as she witnessed the brief change in the girl, but she seemed able to fight it. It was fine, for now.

More pressing was the Priestess. The tree spirit offered them a liquid, and the Princess quickly went about encouraging the priestess to drink it. Kouko bows to the large spirit before turning back to the two in front of her. She'd spent her energy already... She sighs, sitting properly at the priestess's side. She hadn't done much, in the end. How frustrating...
