Ben Solo
He calmed himself once he felt his uncle return. The warmth in the hut became near suffocating to him suddenly. When he did attempt to overcome his feelings, it became more bareable. He stood up from the door and made himself look busy just in case his uncle had decided to check in on him. Finding his bag near the bed where he left it, he dug through nylon material and pulled out a framed photo of his mother and a younger him. He believed he was maybe six or seven in that picture. The memory was still fresh in his head. She had taken there to see the rose fields on the planet they were visiting. For some reason she was exceptionally happy and that in turn made him happy. The wide grins on their faces showed the joy they held in that moment perfectly. As he trailed the sterling frame with his index finger, he wondered what she was doing. If she was still working as usual. I hope See-Threepio reminded her to eat. Knowing that nagging pile of gold, he's probably pestering her now. The noise in the hut soon grew quiet... all except for the echo of soft footfalls. He turned his head towards the door before a knock resounded from it; expecting to hear his uncle. To his dismay, it was only Odette. Her voice sounded hesitant to him, as if she was nervous as to what his answer would be. He could understand why, cause he was tempted to tell her to buzz off. However, a peaceful walk would do him some good. Perhaps it would let him think clearly and actually get his mind off of Han. He paused so that his thoughts could settle before going to open the door. As it swung towards him, he stepped to the side to block his room from view. The picture he had just put up wasn't up for show. He didn't want her snooping around his room; looking for clues about his struggle. Out the corner of his eye, randomly, he caught the sight of a silver handle in her hand. "You're kinda pushy, Odette..." He told her, looking through the short curls of his raven hair with a stern gaze. "But yea, I don't mind walking with you. What? you scared to go alone or something?" he teased as he walked passed her. His boots pounded the floor louder than he thought. Ben noticed Luke in the room; underneath the contrast of light and shadows he looked... different. His aged face exuded strength, even though gray hair peppered his face. And underneath the brown robes Ben could tell his uncle was fit. The young Solo acknowledged his uncle's return with a short lift of his hand before stepping outside and waiting for Odette to catch up. "Don't get me lost, Odette."
