Nation Name: Revelry, Shining Jewel of the Anchorage System
Revelry is a celestial megastructure created, controlled and maintained by President Gaia, a first-generation EI (enhanced intelligence) construct of unknown age. Revelry's chief designer, Gaia, intended the ring world to be shaped from a multitude of high-quality alloys, composites materials, synthetic plastics, and spaced armor configurations. These high-quality materials--characterized by their high tensile-strengths, excellent resistance to stress, superconductive properties, and high resistance to heat-- were supplemented by carbon nanotubes and chemical-based case hardening. Even with these extensive measures taken by its lone engineer and her army of maintenance drones, Revelry would still shatter under its own mass due to the tyranny of physics, so much of the load has been taken off of the ring's chassis through the use of a vast network of emitters that generate a passive (and incredibly powerful) electromagnetic current that courses across and through Revelry's entire surface area, with additional cross-bracings and honeycomb configurations placed within the ring's superstructure, all of which further augment Revelry's already considerable sturdiness. In the past, Revelry has come under assault by would-be invaders, whom were swiftly introduced to the sheer power of the station's domestic weaponry and supplementary defense grid. The defense grid, controlled by Gaia's subroutines, is comprised of several hundred 'gun satellites' that hover aimlessly within the empty space of Revelry's center, each a single particle cannon equipped with a number of point-defense laser turrets, trajectory-correcting engines and missile pods quipped with nuclear fusion armaments. The ring world's outer circumference harbors hundreds of missile pods that fire larger (and considerably more) nuclear munitions. Particle cannon and rail gun turret emplacements are included as well, while an energy shield protects the entire station from harm. Revelry has no breathable atmosphere, as its inhabitants themselves are not truly 'alive', with much of the 'air' on Revelry being made up of toxic smog.

Swingers are humanoid androids that, after having lived for eons as immortal beings free of crime, government corruption and world suffering, have deemed it necessary to regress back to more primitive forms (or, at least, more primitive baseline instincts rather than the pre-calculated actions that are generally associated with a machine-based race) in order to truly experience what it means to feel alive. Swingers have taken a romantic interest in the culture of the American 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, causing them to adopt the clothing fashions, lingo and American way-of-thinking of those long-past generations. Swingers come in three grades, though all are uniform in the fact that each is a machine powered by a sophisticated movement-charged power cell that feeds energy to a compact endo-frame and muscular system made up servomotors, carbon fiber muscles and a skeletal base forged form lightweight alloys and plastics. The central processing unit that runs the intelligence program of a swinger is mapped and written using the neurological pathways of a once-living human brain. As the elite of Revelry, high rollers are haughty, aloof around those of lesser status and are plagued by greed, lust and a longing for unquestionable power, which drives many of them to appease Gaia's personal judgement in an effort to get upgraded with riot warden rigs and extract unwarranted vengeance upon the inferior plebeians of the ring world. Famous high rollers include Gabriel Al, Francis of Arcadia, Darius Mitchell, Johnny the Kid, and Two-Step Grey.

"Someone needs to stop these scum before they bring the whole damned station under their boot. We need a deterrent. We need a damn good deterrent---a weapon for the people BY the people." The Hammers, so named after their usual occupations which demand the use of large industrial-grade powered and non-powered tools, are--in a way--the beating heart of Revelry. Although Gaia's drones maintain the outer chassis of the ring world, the hammers keep the core mechanical systems of Revelry's substantial bulk cared for, greasing gears, turning knobs, repairing bracings, and replacing power couplings when needed. Due to their profession's demand for physical strength, the hammers are gifted with immense lifting, pushing and pulling power, with their forms powered by a fusion cell rather than by the energy generated by locomotion to provide these potent systems the energy they need to function. Recently, small-scale turf wars between the foot soldiers of the regional crime lords and the hammers have given rise to the concept of the union, a conglomerate of tight-knit labor groups united under one or more causes. Unions typically persuade Gaia to limit the amount of riot wardens that are placed on the streets, which in turn limits the amount of corruption that runs rampant within Revelry. When diplomacy and appeasement fail however, unions turn to their inherent talents with machinery to retrofit powered tools (such as stamp or bolt guns) and power loaders (which are used when a hammer's form cannot endure the strain of some loads) with supplementary armor, stopping power or increased rate of fire. To hamper their effectiveness in combat, the criminal organizations of Revelry delivery bar the selling of rigs in the working sections of Slough, though this does not stop the workers of the industrial complex from striking back at their oppressors whenever and wherever possible.
Crude yet effective, with the slap-dash method of creating combat walkers ensuring that no two are alike. Usually deployed when words fail to do their part. The .75 caliber cannons and the mass-reactive gyrojet smart rounds that they fire aren't strong enough to do damage to Gaia's greatest creation, but they will core a swinger in one or two shots.
Built around an electromagnetic accelerator rig stripped from a mundane power tool, the Storm-Drum is an improvised weapon that fires .50 caliber solid slugs (or 'junk' projectiles like bolts, nuts and small bearings) at hypervelocities.

Racial Traits:
Civilization Tier: This is tricky. Revelry has had access to FTL technology for some time, but the nation itself has expanded relatively little as per Gaia's own personal command. Deliberately keeping FTL technology out Population: Culture/Society: Much of the culture in Revelry is reminiscent of 1930s, 1940s and 1950s America, though elements pertaining to the 21st century (and the later years of the Industrial Revolution) do exist. Clothing Traditionally, the dapper man’s apparel comprises a pair of dress slacks, an overcoat, a pair of synthetic leather shoes, and a fedora, with women equally sporting high-class garments that depict power, wealth and respect. Called high-rollers (or 'snobs' by those with less dosh than them)

Rigs The term ‘rig’ is a catch-all classification for any type of software or hardware modification that can be installed within the inner confines of a swinger’s armature or artificial psyche. Rigs span multiple functions, are produced by numerous manufactures and and are of varying legal status, with most rigs on Revelry being illegal weapon-type adaptations based off of stolen military schematics obtain through back-door bartering with some of Gaia’s more corrupted riot wardens that take a rather keen interest in illegitimate business ventures. Specific ‘gun runner’ criminal organizations maintain wide-ranging weapons trafficking operations that are situated in the lower levels of Revelry’s internal chambers, which has—over time—given rise to the ‘city within the city’ (or the industrial heart of Revelry) commonly referred to as ‘Slough’. Slough—known for its tough citizenry and distaste for Gaia’s authority—is ruled by Gabriel Al, the ruthless leader of the Anchorage Outfit. Revelry has no standing army, but more than 60 percent of its total population is reported to have access to at least one illegal military-grade rig, with the most common weapon-type rig being a particle-based directed energy weapon that is, fundamentally, a scale-down version of the larger and more potent PPC-II System utilized by Gaia’s riot wardens. Some non-lethal rigs are still considered contraband by President Gaia. ‘Mind-Meld’ technology and related is one such non-lethal rig that allows swingers to Counties Counties (or boroughs as they are sometimes called) are administrative areas and cities situated within one of Revelry’s four districts. These districts, known as the Four Corners of the Earth (or FCE), encompass the districts of New York, Illinois, Michigan and Hawaii, with each district home to roughly five-hundred million swingers of assorted classes, models and backgrounds. The districts of New York and Illinois lie within Revelry’s leftmost hemisphere while Michigan and Hawaii lie in its right. Although Gaia technically rules over Revelry, each district is governed by a Lord Marshal, an individual swinger of elevated prestige and class chosen by Gaia herself to act as her main arm and voice within that specific location. Lord Marshals are given full access to Gaia’s small security force of riot wardens, which permits them to carry out punishments for infractions against the laws set forth by Gaia herself. Aided by a cabinet or council of legislative officials, Gaia’s Lord Marshalls are akin to a more primitive version of the Old World’s ‘United States President’, although this designation conflicts with Gaia’s own position as Revelry’s commander-in-chief and pseudo-leader. The Bronx: The Bronx is the largest county within the district of New York and—like the unofficial city of Slough—retains a relatively high crime rate, with most of these heinous acts taking root within the Gateway Center, a massive dome-shaped building that acts as a hub point for the purchasing of legal rigs, replacement parts and the acquiring of adequate (if not temporary) living space. The Gateway Center is accessed by way of the Whitestone Bridge, a two-way teleportation device that allows incoming and outgoing freight craft, citizens, workers, and riot wardens to traverse between the greater whole of Revelry's Wayne: Wayne country is the prime production center for Revelry's complex components. Wayne Country was originally one of four counties that made up a fifth district known as ‘Detroit’
The DRC/CP is
