Absolutely. For the sake of player options, I'm inclined to allow both genders for both sides. Justified through the nations of the war making use of absolutely everyone and everything available to them, making them a bit more lax on gender issues compared to the real world, kinda like what you saw with the aforementioned example of female soldiers in the Soviet Union.

Additional note: The experimental transport aircraft you're getting for this mission are friggin' huge, so bringing vehicles along is [b]completely viable.[/b] They're based off of the real world Me 323 Gigant, which was colossal and could carry tanks. Just don't go too crazy.
