I'm defining failed loosely for that very reason. Hence the "". You might say no life is failed or that collapsing is failed so I made it vague to fit for either. But even though they're filtered out doesn't mean they aren't there, there's countless new ones every unit of time that are there for a unit and then gone to be replaced with new ones for a unit and so on and so on. So they're still there, even though they aren't there.
