[@SevenStormStyle] The elements (for Drakken and Gems alike) were always pretty archaic and basic. I'd say that metal can take part in earth, but it would likely take more effort/skill to mold it, as metal is stronger than dirt. Ice is just water in a different form, as is steam, so those are fine. I'd say electricity is out, since it's less of an element and more convoluded. Fire gems can't, say, squirt lava from their hands (as lava is hot rock) BUT they [i]could[/i] pair up with an earth gem to make lava or heat rocks/metal enough to melt them, with effort. A Drakken with both Earth and Fire could probably make lava, since Drakken are more powerful and he has two elements to work with in the aforementioned way. Make sense?
