I know that feel. My name is almost always mispronounced or misspelt. It doesn't help that some people screw it up so bad as to mistake me for the opposite sex before they see me.

Though, just so I get to jump on the bandwagon, I'll say that, from my mouth, Jvan is said with the whole J=Y thing that some languages have. It seems to sit more comfortably to me that way.
