Its her bloodlust talking. She loses her fear, and starts to see everything as prey or a thing to play with. When she is serious (like she was halfway though the fight with Uriel), then she actually analyzes and works around them like a smart person should.

TL;DR she got pissy because of Octavia's [s]stupidity[/s] mercy
