Alone in the cubicle, Cody knew the ten minutes had passed, and he was starting to grow concerned once more, the deafening silence pounding on his ears. He breathed in and out slowly, trying not to imagine that the walls were crushing him. 

As the cubicle was opened and fresh air entered, Cody let out a long breath, before rising and leaving the cubicle, he was relieved to have sounds assaulting his senses once more. He moved over to Gerswhin, glancing to the doctor, but no more then that, looking back to Gerswhins brightness.

He pondered her question, wondering if he should answer truthfully what he thought or not. He swallowed, and chose his words carefully.

'I think they are looking for answers. I think that they want to be able to replicate our abilities. To use them in war. I think they want to create a destructive force. Understanding what we can do, how we think, is probably a way of doing that. 

And I think, I fear, that they will figure out everything I've done has been a way of sending them on a goose chase'

The last sentence was spoken softly, barely audible, as he glanced about them.

Agent Caits nodded, starting towards big bosses office. She had been wondering why she was required to take him to Big Bosses office, and the only thing she could think of was that they knew what Dioxide had done. 

She hoped that that hadn't occurred to him.
