[@Sep] I think I'm going to have to go with Joker and Hush. Both when written well provide an excellent foil and antithesis to Batman. 

Other than that, I love a well done Zod as well. Especially when he's written as doing what's best for Krypton,  he's not so much as a villain as a well intentioned extremist.
