[center][color=CC0033][I][h2] On the Floor Behind the Couch [/h2][/I][/color][/center]

As Serephina sat on the floor stroking her cat's head, she tried to relax and control her breathing. Odette purred contently in her lap and looked up at her and blinked slowly. From a cat, a slow blink was a sign of love and trust. Serephina did it back and Odette calmly laid her head back down. Regus and Ryan were busy massacring each other's characters in a video game. too busy hearing gunshots and vulgar words, they didn't hear the giant pounding suddenly made evident to Serephina. Feeling guilty having to get up with her adorable sleeping cat in her lap, she put Odette on the back of the couch and stood up. [color=CC0033][I] "There's someone pounding rather aggressively on the door guys. Is it the Boss?" [/I][/color] 

When no one responded, Serephina sighed, rolled her eyes and went to answer the door. Upon opening it, she saw a boy standing there looking rather desolate. She thought she had seen this boy before but she just couldn't put her finger on it yet. Half smiling, she timidly said [color=CC0033][I] "Hi?. . . Who might you be? I feel like I've seen you before but I can't seem to put my finger on your name." [/I][/color] Serephina racked her brain trying to remember where she had seen him before. She knew it would come to her eventually, but it would come at the most irrelevant, inconvenient time. Turning around and yelling up to Regus and Ryan [color=CC0033][I] "Someone's here! Ryan get down here!" [/I][/color] She waved the boy in and shut the door behind him.
