Just two things. He is a bit too young to be a tribe leader, he'll have to be at least 23. The problem has to do with the fact he would be only 1 year older than the eldest camper and that can create insubordinance. He could have worked as a camp hand during those extra years though.

And I'd like him to have a last name. This would be used by everyone unless he pressed them to call him by his first name. [@Ashura]
