I would tell her that sometimes, you don't attack a threat. You RUN LIKE HELL is on your tail. 

Well hells not that bad. Just some buff german demons ho want to ' pump you up.' which isn't that bad. 
But really, if it was a squirrel maybe you should try to stab it. Any sort of thing that you assume is larger than you. Don't try to stab it!
