Reception
Day 3, Evening
The stars are out tonight, Ao thought, night wind blowing through his hair, as he leaned against the deck railing, looking at the revelers. He wore a white coat, and sipped dark wine from a tall champagne glass. It really is a lovely night for such a party. His sharp eyes picking out the two individuals that he cared most about from the other people, he found Jerall and Shryke dancing together. Smirking and shaking his head, he sipped his wine. No matter what the two kids said, they did cut up nicely, and looked like a cute little couple. No matter what they told him otherwise. Concentrating a bit, he condensed an infinitesimal amount of the sea spray into a little stormcloud, about the size of a fingernail, and made it fly around his glass. He watched it for a bit, tiny lightning bolts shooting through the small black cloud, before he was nudged out of his reverie by an elbow to the ribs. Surprised, he looked up, and there she was, Jerall, smiling. Finding Shryke, he saw that the Orc had moved onto another partner. "So, master Relvas, would you care to dance with a lowly Knight?" Jerall held out her hand, raising her eybrows at him, as if there was no question at all. Sighing, and shaking his head, he set the glass down upon a nearby table, and took her hand, and the two walked to the dance floor, side by side. The music changed, and they began to dance, moving in time to the waltz. The soldiers, a Knight and her Captain, took the spotlight, natural grace and practiced form weaving together to create a beautiful scene.
