Adrian dropped the offensive posture at Reinas request and settled in comfortably behind her, wings folding around him as the robe slid over him to obscure them once again. The cowl of his robes covered the ominous red orbs, severing the paralyzing effect completely as the moth man hunched over in Reinas shadow, though still much taller than her. With the business of protection not needed he returned to the more important matter at hand. Navigating the school would be difficult, Adrian had only learned of where he and his master would be staying. Anything beyond that was a mystery.

Despite the very obvious threat and the potential carnage he could do, it was obvious that Adrian was at least trying to give Connor the benefit of the doubt in this particular circumstance. Reina saw no threat and neither would he for the time being. Maybe with time the boy would become something more? Who was to say. Though he never brought it up to Reina, Adrian was always very worried about who she would eventually start to date and perhaps one day even marry. Would Adrian still be in her life on that day, would the partner she chose be the kind hearted and gentle soul that the moth man hoped they would be? None could say. For now all that Adrian could do was make sure this wonderfully caring girl lived a life where she could always smile.

Adrian had purposefully opted out of saying 'us'. He would watch, certainly, but his masters luggage would not find its own way to her room.
