Location: Off Ralls Road, Troup County. Between Hwy 29 and Hwy 100, just North of Hogansville, GA. Interacting With: Dexter, Jaime and hopefully the people in the cool as fuck tank-like car.
The little sheep followed Richard’s orders to the letter. Good, they fucking knew better. However one glance out of the window, one sniff of the air and Richard knew that they were fucked. No more hand holding, Richard was out for himself yet again but Jaime was already out and down the front of the building. That left Dexter, whom Richard had discovered was afraid of heights when they’d first discovered this slice of fucking paradise. He shoved his gun back down the back of his pants, safety on, and considered their options. As the Deadbrains beat on the door that Dexter and Jaime had so successfully blocked up, Richard walked quickly over to Dexter and grabbed the front of his shirt. He pulled his face close to his own and spoke in a harsh, audible whisper. ”I swear to the Lord Almighty, if you leave me alone with only fucking Cheech as company, I will hunt your Deadbrain body down and use you to kill him. Now move your fucking ass down the front of this fucking building.” He let him go with a small shove before turning and running towards the open window. He swung his legs over and leveraged his feet into the overgrown ivy that covered the entire front and right side of the building. He glared at Dexter for what could be the last time if the dumb prick didn’t decide to follow them. He snorted derisively before his head disappeared beneath the window ledge. He took care but the wind and the rain were whipping him around which slowed his progress a little. He could hear Jaime rustling beneath him and feel the ivy moving with his meagre weight. However, when the counterweight of Jaime’s body on the ivy was no longer there, Richard lost his footing and fell the remaining distance. He hadn’t looked to see how far he had left and his stomach dropped as he fell. As he hit the ground on his left side, he heard an engine roaring in the nearby distance. Fucking people! YES! His hip was tender but he’d landed on the grass thankfully so it didn’t appear to be too sore, at least not yet. He got up off the ground and groaned at the tenderness of his body. He felt the rain on his right wrist and looked back at the house to see where he’d fallen from and noticed a piece of his shirt fabric stuck on the ivy about eight feet off the ground. Thank fuck he hadn’t fallen further. He saw the Deadbrains coming out of the wooded area nearby at that point and his chest tightened. No. Fucking. Way. His pot of luck was not about to run on empty just yet, fuck that shit. He pulled his sawed-off shotgun out of its holster and made a run for it away from the Deadbrains and hopefully to a spot where the people in the fucking amazing tank car would see them. There was a really large patch of darker green field out towards the main road, he’d head in that direction along the driveway as long as he could before the Deadbrains got closer. The others could either follow him or not, that was their choice. He wasn’t sticking the fuck around. Weather: Heavy storm. Location: On top of a rundown RV, South of Hwy 34, outside Franklin, GA. Interacting With: Kris and the new arrivals. Avoiding the Walkers.
Lorna and Kris had managed to avoid most of the Walkers by climbing up top but there were still some clambering at the sides of the RV, trying to grab hold of them. She considered waiting until the others wandered off and then taking out the remaining few left but thought that might just draw more attention again. Maybe they could climb inside the RV and see if it was empty and in working order? That was a risk too, but then everything was a risk in this world. Maybe they were just better off staying silent and still until they had no other choi—was that an engine? Lorna moved her head around and saw it. It wasn’t too loud but it was definitely a working car. Was this their oncoming salvation perhaps? Or maybe just more problems? Either way, a moving vehicle meant people, and people she could deal with. She raised her body up a little from the roof of the RV and raised one of her arms into the air just enough so that they could see her as clearly as she could see them. She waved at the car and hoped that they’d at least run some of the Walkers down or something. This was a risk, she knew it but they had no other choice right now. She had to do what she could to save Kris. That’s when the rain started… These had better be some good people or Lorna was about to become extremely pissed off.
