[@Obscene Symphony] I understand what you're getting at, i was just trying to work it around what i believe the spirit realm would be like once it's introduced later on in the story. However... You are going the extra mile and giving your guardian much more of a background, when one isn't really required. So, we can try and go with it.

I like where your heads at, but I think it'll just be pretty "cut & paste" as far as the whole tangibility/phase thing goes. All guardians (unless they made of smoke or something of course) will be tangible and have the ability to phase through objects. Phasing would only be used in the "living world". Remember, when they are in the spirit world, guardians are "normal" and won't be able to phase through objects
