-Design doesn't pull me in as well as I would like - a "me" issue. I expressed tentative interest in the first place, but I only really wanted to see what I could expect. Now I know.

-In extension to the above, I have a very, very specific type of RP in the sci-fi world I'm going for, and I am probably not going to get it until I post it or someone else beats me to it in retrospect. And I don't want to make this RP change for the sake of my whims.

-Again tied to the above, at this point I can only join something if I am really, really into the concept. Otherwise I will manage to find excuses why to not post. I become a hypocrite the moment I do that, and so I avoid getting into such a scenario in the first place.

Now, *one* more fantasy I might be able to take and be less picky, but I am ultra picky about what Sci-fi I go into, alas. Been disappointed a bit much - I have such an individualized view of sci-fi that anything not it or Battletech loses me quickly. Again, I was around to see how the concept would form. It isn't so much your problem as much as it didn't appeal to my extremely picky tastes in the genere.
