I've never exactly loved poetry myself, I like actual fiction far more. I mean I appreciate all forms of writing, especially if dark or depressing just because that's the stuff I gravitate towards. I don't exactly know why either, I guess I've just never gotten into it. It's just a personal taste thing really. Nothing to be ashamed of, it may just not be your thing. So unfortunately I can't get you into poetry since I myself don't care for it. <.<
