Second City War stood above the defeated Viran in his transformed state as he looked towards Mina and Druid with an insane glint in his eyes. He was going to kill these two and he was going to enjoy it. They had interfered in his and Genocide's plans long enough. As he turned away from Viran and began a slow menacing walk towards Mina he let out a laugh. "You should have chosen your protector better little girl. He couldn't even protect himself in the end." War raised his clawed hand and was about to slice through Mina's stomach when a sudden burst of light from behind him lit up the area. "What the hell?" He muttered as he turned around and saw what he thought were millions of lights circling something that resembled an orb rapidly until some of them burst away from whatever it was circling. "What is this?!" He roared as a spear of what seemed to be gold and teal light shot down from the sky and slammed into Viran's body which seemed to convulse and began to shake. War stared at the body in confusion. "What the...?" Viran's body let out a shout as his eyes flashed open. They were glowing with unrestrained energy and the bruises and battle wounds that he had were rapidly vanishing from his body. A blast of energy shot from his eyes and collided with War who was sent flying backwards and collided with Genocide. War snarled and got back to his feet and brought a clawed hand down on Viran as Viran began advancing on him. Viran easily caught the fist and twisted it backwards as his eyes continued to glow with power. War let out a roar of pain as blasts of energy shot out from Viran's eyes and slammed into War again. "You made the wrong choice." Viran's voice seemed different. Almost as though there were two voices speaking as one. "You threaten my friends. You threaten those I care about. No more. No more death. No more destruction. No more killing. I choose to end this now." Viran's eyes began to glow brighter than they already were, they were radiating with enough light to blind someone if they looked directly at him. "No! It won't end!" War shouted as he and Genocide focused in on Viran's legs and fired beams of energy from their eyes and slammed into Viran's legs.Viran let out a shout of pain. The pain was enough to force him to look away from the two of them and the enhanced energy blast was fired into the air. Genocide looked back at War and shook his head. "We have to leave! Someone or something has changed him! At this rate we don't stand a chance against him!" War growled. He knew Genocide was right. "Another time Viran. You are proving to be a more interesting opponent than I anticipated. But eventually, you will die." He snarled as dark energy began to surround him and Genocide. The two aliens vanished in a soft burst of light as the dark energy expanded for a moment and then vanished. Viran turned to look at Druid and Mina and a soft smile appeared on his face. "Mina...I'm sorry." He said quietly as the light from his eyes began to dim until for a brief moment he looked normal again. "Whatever happened to me there was too much power running through me. I need time to stop the damage. But it means I'm going to be gone for awhile." He said quietly as the light from his eyes continued to dim. He smiled once again as his body hit the ground with a thud. His breathing became slow but he was breathing slow and steady. As Viran hit the ground a bright light appeared in the sky. It slowly became bigger and bigger as it got closer to the ground. As it got closer the shape of a large, battle damaged ship appeared in the sky. There were holes in the hull that were covered by energy fields and smoke was coming from the engines. As it got closer and closer to the ground more details were seen. It was colored gun-metal grey and looked almost like the ship Viran had arrived in except much bigger. Small landing struts emerged from the ship as it hovered above the ground and a ramp emerged from it. Three cloaked figures appeared at the entrance of the ship and slowly began to walk down the ramp. One was limping but the other two seemed alright. The silhouettes of many others appeared behind them. too many to count. As they reached the bottom of the ramp they looked at Viran's still form. "He stopped them." The one in the center said to the other two. "The Bio-lock was broken. It looks as if he called upon all of the stored energy he had. He will live if we are allowed to assist him." He said to the other two. The aliens threw back their hoods to reveal skin and faces somewhat similar to Viran's appearance. The one in the center approached Mina and bowed his head. "I am Hisel. And we are what's left of the Valkorians." Hisel said quietly as the other two picked up Viran's body. "Unlike War and Genocide we mean your world no harm." "We come in peace." Second City Tyran looked down at the ground where the orb had been and tried to figure out what he had just seen. The orb had vanished and Steel had appeared on the ground in front of him. Steel was still and unmoving but Tyran softly stepped over towards her and picked her up in his arms as his sensors scanned her. Vital signs were steadily rising but she was still out cold. "Steel. I swear I'll stand by you." He said quietly as he continued scanning her to make sure she continued recovering. "You will have trouble understanding this world but I guarantee you it's better than the one we came from. We have a chance to change things. To change the world we know to something better." Tyran turned towards the area where he had first been reactivated and began to walk. His systems were somewhat confused but one thing was certain: He would keep Steel safe by whatever means necessary.
