The black, sleek stealth helicopter, a "Puma," flew high above the burning forest, scanning for the target, trying to find the ShinRa APC by sending out regular pulses of the advanced radar systems. So far, they had been flying for about an hour, and they had found nothing. Chico and the other commandos if the Bastões Pretos, a super-elite Black Ops battalion, joked around, while they all kept out a watchful eye for the armored vehicle. Their reverie was broken by a gout of flame, and after what seemed to be an eternity, to Chico, a missile exploded in the cockpit, killing both pilots instantly. The other soldiers panicked, and tried to jump out of the helicopter, forgetting that they were all wearing the suits that they captured from the New Caliphate, the "Ashur" armor platform. Instead of trying to escape the helicopter, which was now in a death spiral, Chico braced himself, and grabbing a Tactical Missile Launcher from the weapons rack, he fired in the general direction of where he saw the missile come from. He didn't know if it hit or not, but he heard an explosion, so the missile definitely hit something. Then, all the Sargent saw was asphalt, coming to greet him, quite rapidly.
Sgt. Chico Roserro of the Brasil Republique Black Ops Division, leader of the "Bastões Pretos," crawled out of the crashed helicopter, wreckage forced out of the way of the armored "Ashur" suit. With a screech of metal, the soldier tore away a wing of the helicopter, and shoved it out of his way, and stood up, looking around. It seemed that there were no survivors from his helicopter. Clenching his fists, he pulled his M256 SAW from its holster in the small of his back, and pulled back the safety bolt with a loud clack. Whomever did this was gonna pay. Walking down the road to where he saw the APC fire from, he kept his suit scanning for anything, trying to see if there were any ShinRa agents coming to investigate the crash. At the first sign of human movement, he would open fire with his M256 SAW, bullets flying through the air, blasting through the burning trees.
