Since Mr Smoke hadn't arrived yet, Thonovan made himself comfortable in the Professor's chair. He grabbed a book from his bag called < L'espoir ne sera jamais silencieux > and put his legs on the Professor's desk. While he was reading, he got so carried away with the content of the book that his abilities started to manifest around him. The nearby plants started to move and vines crawled up the walls. When he heard footsteps approaching, Thonovan quickly put the book back into his bag and all the plants returned to their original state. He wasn't sure why but he didn't want people to know he liked reading. It was something he couldn't explain, perhaps he thought that it would make him look vulnerable. As he noticed it was Mr Smoke entering the office, he lift up his legs from the desk and got out of the chair. Had the Professor seen him reading? Thonovan wasn't sure. While unwrapping a chocolate bar, Thonovan smiled politely at his teacher. "Hello Professor. I thought I'd let myself in, I hope it isn't a problem. We do have an appointment to discuss my self-healing right?" Thonovan looked straight into Mr Smoke's eyes and noticed something was off. The professor seemed lost in thoughts. At that exact moment Thonovan wished he had mind-reading skills. Unsure if he should ask anything about it, he held out his hand with the chocolate bar. "Want some? I brought too many, I will get diabetes if I eat them all." Thonovan had never been an emotional eater but snacks cheered him up when he was worried so he figured it might be able to do the same for his teacher. After all, he knew for sure that they shared a love for chocolate. [@jetipster]
