Turning off the tv, Rebecca rose to her feet, downing the last sweet, salty, luke-warm sip of blood before setting down the crimson stained wineglass on the coffee table. Back to the window she went again pulling back the curtain. Nightfall had finally passed in those few disparaging minutes, the dark sheet of the sky now dotted with several stars, or more-so the lights illuminating from the nearby buildings and skyscrapers. The night was indeed young as well, and naturally Rebecca had been cooped up in her apartment for quite the entire day. At least during this time, she could get out and feel the fresh air...without any worry of revealing her less wanted side to others. Slipping on her coat, she stepped out into the hall of the seventh floor of the Havencrest Apartment building, opting to take the elevator. Then out into the night she was, strolling down the sidewalks dimly lit by the flickering streetlamps.
