“You have been told who I am, Hades the God of the Dead and Karia’s father so my purpose should be obvious!” His voice boomed as he announce what Karia had felt in her bones was the truth. Some many things fit, her gifts, her mother’s weird habits, and all her life in general. She felt numb suddenly as she looked at him, a magic wind blowing of their hair about as his anger rose swiftly. Hades went to step forward and as he raised his hand, cursing the boy, Karia stepped in the way as ball of bright fire flew from his palm. It hit her squarely in the chest and dissipated without so much as leaving a singed area. “Don’t touch him.” Her voice was barely controlled as she spoke to her father. “What he says is true…all of it.” She watched as his face turned pained when he realized she was not taking the news well and quite honestly wanted him gone. “Well I am sorry my dear but for now we need to find out what happened. The easiest way to do that is for me to see for myself.” He reached his hand out then. “Give me your hand and I will see through you.” She looked at him a few moments before looking over her shoulder to Arch and stepping forward. As she put her hand out the shadows began to cover her form, finally turning to a solid Greek styled dress. As it did she raised an eyebrow at him as he shrugged. “It is odd for me to look at her nearly naked…what can I say. Now let us start.” As Hades took his daughter’s hand a smile trace his face suddenly and then he closed his eyes. Suddenly the both seemed to sync to each other, both their eyes clearly moving from underneath their eyelids. As the dream like moment ended they both opened and settle back into themselves. “So?” She looked up at him, taking her hand back and feeling the fear all over again. “It seems the boy was truthful.”
